Monica Y. Jennings, CFP™, established Jennings Financial Planning to create a place where planning your financial future would just feel right. When Monica started her career in corporate finance in New York in the early 1980s, she was unable to find that place. While that remained a thorn, it also formed a seed. After career moves to San Francisco and Guam, she returned to Hawaii, where the conditions were right for that seed to grow into Jennings Financial Planning.
Monica is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional and a NAPFA-registered financial advisor. She has served on the boards of the Hawaii chapter of the Financial Planning Association and The Junior League of Honolulu.
Monica holds an MBA from The Wharton School in Philadelphia and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii. She happily shares an office suite with her husband, who is a CPA. Away from the office, Monica keeps trying to move the needle on her pickleball game. She also enjoys quiet pursuits including puttering, letter-writing and developing the skill of contemplation.
